  It's honestly not a bad property but it is aging quite badly and is in need of a refreshment in terms of decor and styling. The hotel is incredibly accommodating to skiers and snowboarders. The location is amazing in terms of proximity to the slopes and they are super nice about the amenities - the parking is plentiful and there are at least a dozen or so shops and restaurants in the area. A great spot for the whole family.

  Great location in the heart of Blue Mountain resort. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could use a washdown of the walls as there were moisture drips visible. With the amount of gear a family brings on a ski vacation the lobby is quite small and check-in takes more time than necessary. They don't alloy skiis in the hotel so it is a juggling act to plan parking, luggage, groceries, gear and then ski drop off at the ski valet. Not an issue if you are not skiing the day you arrive.

  We visited the Grand Georgian for a work event, but stayed two extra nights because the hotel is so lovely. The rooms have an amazing view off their balcony, wherever you are, and the kitchenette surprised us with it's completeness. Just outside the building there's restaurants and shopping of all kinds, plus firepits along the sidewalk if you just want to enjoy some Christmas lights and weather. There's also a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, perfect for soaking in the snow. Always a great experience.

  The Grand Georgian rooms were recently renovated. We were placed in the Seasons at Blue which offered a cute bachelor with a well stocked kitchen with all the cutlery .. but for some reason it missed a frying pan. The room had a nice fireplace which we used extensively. Overall a great place to stay. One downfall is that the elevators are slow and during peak hours you could wait up to five minutes for an elevator.. despite only having about six floors (including the parking lot floors)

  I really cannot think of anything negative to say about the Grand Georgian hotel. The rooms were neat and tidy. The kitchenette was great and fully supplied. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great view from our balcony of the village and the mountain itself. I guess if I had to be picky the only thing that was a little annoying was that you had to pay for the WiFi which was $9 a day. Honestly this didn't bother me at all because I was busy doing other activities the whole time, but I can see how it might annoy other guests. All in all I had a fantastic time staying at the Grand Georgian at Blue Mountain Resort and I cannot wait to come back.
